In a strategic move by the true 3D measurement company to further accelerate its growth and continue delivering intelligent inspection solutions, Koh Young Americas hired Brent Fischthal for the newly created position of Senior Manager for Americas Marketing and Eastern Regional Sales.
With over 20 years of progressive sales and marketing leadership roles in the global electronics assembly industry, Fischthal was the ideal candidate for the role. He brings industry-focused experience in marketing strategy, sales management, business intelligence, and product management from positions held previously at Panasonic Factory Solutions Company, Philips Assembleon, and Universal Instruments. He holds a B.S. in Marketing from West Virginia University and an M.B.A. from the University of Florida Hough Graduate School of Business.
Fischthal also serves to advance the electronics industry in several capacities, including the SMTA Carolinas Chapter Board of Directors and the SMTA Marketing Committee. He is also on the Assembly Equipment Statistical Committee and the Tradeshow Committee for IPC, a global trade association serving the electronics assembly industry. Additionally, he is a member of the Board of Directors with MESA International, a global community focused on driving business results from manufacturing information. Together with his application and process knowledge, he has authored several technical white papers to support the development of advanced surface mount assembly techniques.
