Europlacer Germany will use Nuremberg’s rebranded SMTconnect exhibition to introduce a recent key addition to its German support team, a new infrastructure and website behind the company’s distribution strategy across German-speaking territories, and a new agreement with a specialist inspection principal. The company will also exhibit screen printing, placement and reflow product solutions.
A surface mount industry professional of 20 years standing in businesses that include Siemens Automation & Drives and smartTec, Anton Mehl joined the company in January as Sales Manager. SMTconnect will be Anton’s first opportunity to represent the company at a leading industry exhibition.
The company will also announce substantial improvements to its distribution infrastructure, comprising agreements with industry-leading equipment principals that allow them to deliver and support full line assembly solutions. A new website will also be launched to support the distribution drive.
Linked to that drive to strengthen infrastructure, Europlacer Germany reports the successful conclusion of an agreement with Pemtron to distribute its market-leading range of AOI and SPI systems.
Equipment on display on the stand at this year’s tradeshow include the Speedprint SP710avi printer complete with the Advanced Dispense Unit (ADu) and Speedprint’s S-Track barcode label placement traceability system. Europlacer will demonstrate its fastest flexible placement machine platform, the atom3 – an ultra-flexible product featuring placement rates up to 65,000 cph. With screen printing, dispensing and placement taken care of, the remaining core assembly process will be represented by Heller’s acclaimed 1911 Mk5 vacuum reflow oven.
