Over 400 international companies will exhibit at this year’s SMT Hybrid Packaging tradeshow. Taking place in Nuremberg, Germany, the electronic manufacturing industry will get together on June 5-7, in Halls 4A, 4, and 5. For a free entry to the trade show, redeem your free voucher here.

From technology and processes, materials and components, and manufacturing equipment, to reliability and testing, and software and systems, visitors will get a firsthand look of the entire value chain. Presentations, panel discussions, live demonstrations, and training tutorials will incorporate trending themes that have occurred throughout the industry. This includes, video simulation, Smart Factory, and Artificial Intelligence.

Highlights and live tours

Conferences, lectures, panel discussions, and vendor presentations will take place. The target points for the conferences are basics, technologies & processes, reliability, test, analysis, and innovations & trends. Find further details and scheduling here.

English practical training tutorials will be available throughout the week, covering topics including, design, assembly, and rework guide on Land Grid Array (LGA) and Quad Flat No-lead (QFN), as well as, failures of Printed Circuit Boards and how it can be fixed.

Live production line at Booth 5-434: “Smart Motion: Intelligent automation for e-mobility and robotics”. Once a day, this future packing line will have an English tour for visitors to be able to experience a live production line that will simulate actual conditions.

Hand soldering competition will take place again this year at Booth 4-400, with cash prizes and a chance to compete in the World HSC Championship. Occurring for the first time will also be a hand soldering competition for beginners.

Joint stands

  • “Mixed Double -- PCB meet components” will be located in the special interest area in Hall 5. Five companies will display products and solutions for the PCB industry, including circuit boards, modules, and materials.
  • “Optics meets electronics” , which is aimed towards optoelectronics products and solutions. At Booth 4A-410, three exhibitors will focus on automotive communications, optical sensors, analysis and detection, and process management.
  • “EMS intersection" which is mainly for contract manufacturers. At Booth 5-223, eight companies will focus on hardware and software for electronic design and development, repair services, THT assemblies, and more.
  • “Newcomer Pavilion” , which was introduced for the first time at last year’s show. Five companies will display their products and solutions in Booth 4-429.
